What?!?
Chris is out. Only one of my top 6 is in the top three. DAmn, I guess i just have to hope that the new American Idol just ISNT Grampa Taylor now, huh?
Edit: OK, stop saying that the voting was rigged. That's the most idiotic whining possible. You want to talk about rigged voting? Keep it to the 2000 presidential election. Yeah, Kat sang poorly tuesday night, but come on, Chris swining aroung and running with the entire mic stand? Or HELLO, the fact that he never sang anything different? Or when he said he respected Creed? Come ON! Also, Fuel already offered him membership in the band. "rigged"?? Bitch please.

Musings on Predictions
because what's going on with me? who cares.
Wednesday we bit a sad farewell to one Ms. Kellie "Sailmen" Pickler.
Ok, So here's who we have left.
Chris Daughtry
Paris Something
Kat McPhee
Taylor Hicks
Elliott Yamin
Who will win?
My money's still on Chris.
Next to go?
Paris, Elliott
Still love?
Kat, shes Katastic. Plus Ryan will be so, so sad when she leaves.
So, my top three is:
Taylor, Kat, Chris
Hope they find Taylor's real driver's license and proof he's 65 before the final 2 so that he gets disqualified. What's that? A Brittenium in the audience? Everybody check their purses and wallets. Flawless.
Carrie Out.

Well, Diane, I'm surprised
Mandisa isssss outathere!!!! Got the news whilst at the Tribe Baseball game (depressing result against the Gerry Falwell college). Anyway, Mandisa?? as you can read below I thought top two!! But after the God shout out that was annoying and two so-so performances, I'm not hugely surprised. Surprised, but not hugely so. So, with this upset Let's look at where my standings are:
Group 1:
OUT: Kevin, Melissa
STILL IN: Bucky, and he's getting better! Thats a surprise.
Group 2: OUT: Lisa (and not a moment too soon, I'm not a fan)
STILL IN: Elliott and Kat
Group 3: Kellie, Ace, Taylor
Group 4: OUT: Mandisa
STILL IN: Chris, Paris
So my prediction? So-So.

One correct!
Melissa! The question is, where will the Melissa voters go? I think they will go to Kat.
Ok, here's my call on American Idol.
We now have the Top 12. Here they are in no particular order:
Ok, here's them divided into 1/4ths
Kicked off soon:
Kevin
Melissa
Bucky
Next:
Elliott
Lisa
Kat
Then:
Kellie
Ace
Taylor
Top Three:
Chris
Mandisa
Paris
Top Two:
Chris
Mandisa
Winning:
Chris
Now, America may disappoint me and not vote them off in this order, and God Forbid Taylor be in the top 3. But Kat kinda should be/could be in the top 6, but only if Pickler drops the sweet hick act, and who sees that coming? I don't.
So? Waiting to be surprised tonight. I love Chicken Little, hope it isn't him.

Jacob is beautiful
"But even then, there's a higher point, which is that "sin," in the sense that the Operative means, and means to enforce here as he did in the beginning, is in itself the most sinful concept imaginable. Imposing their lack, through Pax, through legislation, through signing subjective moral concepts into law, circumvents God's plan entirely, and means taking on God's role and making of oneself an idol. It perverts religion and politics, and all of us love one more than the other. Without pride and the choices it presents, there can be no faith: no assertion that one's relationship with God, against all reason, is imperative and real. Without envy, there is no hope, no comparison, no competition, no dissatisfaction, no reason to try, to succeed. Without gluttony, in a world where greed is eliminated, there is no way to choose charity. Without lust, we all die, and without acknowledgement of lust's universality, there is no fortitude. Without anger, without the holy anger of the proletariat, of the people against the unlawful, there can be no justice. Without greed or sloth, there is no moderation, no temperance or prudence -- we are unable to look at ourselves critically and see long-term v. short-term effects. We stop growing them when the state mandates these lacks, takes away these choices: we all go to sleep. And we don't wake up. And Oceania keeps fighting, and the signal is silenced. "
